"Riding on the train from San Jose to Stockton (California), on the "ACE" line -- Altamont Commuter Express -- through the heart of Silicon Valley, wireless Internet access is free. As reported in Metro Magazine, a three-month trial with free wireless access will begin the middle of next month. Commuters will need a wi-fi enabled laptop or PDA to access the service.
